Preventative Vaccines

Support for this trial comes from Open Philanthropy — a grantmaking organization which aims to use its resources to help others as much as it can.

We have also been able to collaborate with three of the top veterinary-oncology academic centers in the world.

Together, we are evaluating Calviri’s approach to preventing cancers in a placebo-controlled, double-blinded dog trial. In the largest companion animal clinical trial to date, a pan-cancer preventative vaccine has been shown to be safe. In addition, preliminary analysis indicates significant reduction in cancer incidence and deaths in the vaccinated versus unvaccinated participants.

Next steps will be to apply the same technology to developing a human preventative vaccine.
