Calviri’s mission is to End Cancer - Worldwide.
We have made the discoveries and invented the technologies that make this mission possible. We started Calviri determined to use our insights and capabilities to build products with worldwide availability that more quickly diagnose cancer and more effectively treat it. With even stronger determination, we set out to build products that prevent cancer from even happening.

The Problem
Globally, cancer is the second leading cause of human death; for dogs it is the first. Enormous research and clinical efforts have yielded some promising therapies; however, they are neither broadly effective nor affordable. Cancer has been devastating our families, our friends and our pets for too long.

Are diagnosed with cancer in the US each year. The malignancy is typically very similar clinically to the human version. Each year 2 million people in the US are diagnosed.

Are diagnosed with cancer worldwide each year; 10 million people die. Nearly 75% of these deaths are in low and middle-income countries.
Our Solution

Diagnostic Tests
Our multi-cancer diagnostic tests accurately detect cancers at their earliest stage (stage 1), with a small drop of blood. Prognosis is far better when detected early. Even standard treatments provide significantly higher 5-year survival rates for stage 1 than later stage disease. Unfortunately, existing multi-cancer tests do not show high sensitivity for this stage. Our diagnostic tests solve this stage 1 “sensitivity” problem because they rely on unique, highly amplified biomarkers that are queried on semiconductor microchips.

Therapeutic Vaccines
Our premade therapeutic vaccines are directed at treating stage 1 cancers. They are companion products to the diagnostic tests. Importantly, these cancer vaccines are not personal. They are comprised of tumor-antigens shared across patients with early disease. They are not custom made, but rather prepared, stored and readied for many patients. This means costs are dramatically reduced and patients can be vaccinated as soon as they are diagnosed.

Preventative Vaccines
Our preventative vaccines are also not personal. They are comprised of tumor-antigens not only shared across tumors of the same type, but across many different tumor types. Knowing which cancer type will develop in the future is not necessary. The vaccine will be protective against the most common ones. Any disease missed by the preventative vaccine can be early-detected and vaccine-treated.
